Infertility Myth #1

THE “NUMBER ONE GOAL IN LIFE” MYTH
“Having a baby is the most important thing in my life. If I can’t have one, I don’t know what I will do.”

Becoming a parent is an important goal, and for some the goal of becoming a parent may never be “number one" and for others it can become all consuming.
Dealing with infertility and fertility treatments can be difficult, its a lot of time and money spent. Getting pregnant becomes the most important thing in life.

I have said to before, but it is so important to take time for yourself and your partner. Not everything has to be about having a baby. Remember to take time to do things that are not baby related, take a weekend getaway, go to a day spa, or just take a walk in the park.

You will feel better and feel like you can face your fertility treatments with a healthy relaxed mind set.

Try and remind your friends and family, if they know about your infertility, that you do have a life outside of baby making. These people may feel like they need to ask you about everything every time you talk to them, it can get exhausting. You deserve the right to have a fun night out without having to worry about talking about your fertility.

Just rememebr you put yourself first!
